Heritage Replacement Windows and Suffolk Collection Door
Mr and Mrs Envis Rothley, Leicestershire
Word of mouth recommendation led Stephen and Christine Envis to Magna Windows through their daughter, who was impressed by the service she had recently received on her own home improvement scheme.
The couple had a tricky project in store, with replacement windows and a front door required for their centuries-old cottage dating back to 1747.
“We were looking for replacement windows and a door to the front of the cottage which would provide practical insulation and security without extensive maintenance, whilst also maintaining the original character of our home and we wanted to ensure we chose the right look,” said Stephen.
With lots of choice available and sound advice from Magna Windows, they opted for timber alternative Heritage windows and a Suffolk door, both in a subtle olive shade, which perfectly suit the traditional look of the cottage and which the couple say have also drawn admiration from people passing by.
“The finish has made such a difference to the kerb appeal of our house. It is really in keeping with the property and has fooled passers by into thinking the lovely new windows are real timber. People have even knocked on the door to tell us how good they look.
“The service we received from Magna Windows could not have been better, from the initial assessment and visiting the showroom, to the completion of the job, which was carried out by the tidiest workmen I have ever seen. The whole process could not have been more enjoyable and we are delighted with the results.”
